Draftsman ((Architect)

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman to prepare detailed architectural drawings based on design concepts, sketches, and markups. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining organized and up-to-date drawing records while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards. This role requires close collaboration with architects, engineers, and site staff to address drawing-related queries and support project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD according to the architect’s instructions.
- Develop working and shop drawings, incorporating comments and revisions as required.
- Adhere to project drawing standards, including scales and layer conventions.
- Maintain drawing registers and manage revision control to ensure document accuracy.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, and site personnel to resolve drawing queries and ensure smooth project workflow.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Architectural Technology (DAE) or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in architectural drafting, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is considered an advantage.
