DRAFTSMAN ( ARCHITECTURAL & INTERIOR DESIGN

Maymar Creative Studio, a well-established architecture and interior design firm based in Karachi, is seeking a skilled Draftsman with 2 to 3 years of experience in architectural and interior drafting. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with architects and interior designers to convert design concepts and sketches into precise construction drawings, working details, and layout plans. This full-time role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure accuracy and clarity in all technical drawings, supporting the creation of innovative and functional residential and commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D architectural, structural, and interior design drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and ceiling plans using AutoCAD.
- Develop accurate working details for joinery, cabinetry, furniture, and finishing elements essential for on-site execution.
- Coordinate drafting layouts with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) plans, lighting schemes, and HVAC diffuser layouts to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Update and revise drawings based on client feedback, site measurements, and engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Occasionally liaise with site supervisors and contractors to clarify drawing details and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Maintain organized project documentation, drawing files, and revision records in accordance with studio standards.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of practical drafting experience within an architectural, interior design, or engineering consultancy environment.
- Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Architecture/Civil Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for producing detailed and accurate drawings.
- Strong understanding of construction standards, building materials, and finishing details.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
