Draftsman

Al Haadi Mobilya is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and layouts specifically for furniture, joinery, and interior works. This role requires close collaboration with designers, production teams, and site staff to transform concepts into precise shop drawings and execution-ready plans that meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed shop drawings, working drawings, and layouts for furniture, cabinetry, and interior works.
- Translate design concepts, sketches, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) into accurate 2D drawings.
- Coordinate with designers, production, and site teams to ensure drawings align with project requirements.
- Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and production needs.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, including dimensions, materials, and specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control for all drawings.
- Support production by providing cutting lists and assembly details as needed.
- Conduct site visits when necessary to take measurements and verify execution details.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in furniture, joinery, or interior fit-out projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Good understanding of furniture detailing, materials, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings accurately.
- High attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar 3D modeling software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of modular furniture and custom joinery is desirable.
- Prior experience working closely with manufacturing or workshop teams is beneficial.
