Draftsman

EBONY HOME is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman to join our creative and technical design team at our DHA Phase 4, Lahore office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in translating furniture concepts and interior layouts into accurate technical drawings. This role requires precision and collaboration to support the production of high-end furniture and interior fit-outs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Drawings: Develop detailed 2D and 3D working drawings, shop drawings, and CAD drafts specifically for furniture, joinery, and interior fit-outs.
- Production Specifications: Prepare cutting lists, material specifications, hardware callouts, and assembly instructions to guide manufacturing and workshop teams.
- Design Coordination: Collaborate closely with furniture designers, project managers, and workshop supervisors to ensure technical accuracy and maintain design integrity throughout the production process.
- Revision Management: Update and modify production drafts based on client feedback, site measurements, and structural feasibility to meet project requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Draftsman within the fields of furniture, interior design, or joinery/woodworking.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D). Familiarity with 3Ds Max, SketchUp, or SolidWorks is considered a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of furniture construction methods, joinery details, wood types, hardware fittings, and manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong spatial visualization skills to accurately interpret and produce technical drawings.
