Draftsman (Plumbing)

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman specializing in plumbing and public health to prepare detailed drawings based on engineers’ designs and markups. The role involves creating accurate water supply, drainage, sewerage, and fire-fighting layouts to support project execution. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and site staff to ensure all plumbing drawings are precise, up-to-date, and coordinated with architectural and structural plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise plumbing and public health drawings using AutoCAD, including layouts, schematics, risers, and detailed sections.
- Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings to reflect actual site conditions.
- Coordinate plumbing layouts with architectural and structural drawings to ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain drawing registers and manage revision control to track changes effectively.
- Address and respond to drawing queries from engineers and site personnel promptly.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Plumbing, Public Health, Civil Technology (DAE), or an equivalent qualification.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in plumbing or public health drafting, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with Revit MEP is considered an advantage.
- Solid understanding of plumbing symbols, basic pipe sizing, and drawing standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
