Driver - Male

The role involves safely transporting employees, goods, documents, and other materials between supermarket branches, the head office, warehouses, and other designated locations. The driver is responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the assigned vehicle in good working condition. This position requires adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and professional conduct throughout all duties.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly, complying with all traffic regulations.
- Transport goods, documents, and staff as directed by management.
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries between branches, head office, and warehouses.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and regularly check fuel levels, oil, tires, brakes, and other essential components.
- Keep accurate records including vehicle logbooks, fuel consumption, and trip details.
- Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance needs immediately to the relevant authority.
- Handle and deliver goods and documents securely to prevent loss or damage.
- Follow assigned routes, duty schedules, and company policies consistently.
- Maintain professional behavior and confidentiality during all work-related activities.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Completion of matriculation is preferred.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of driving experience, with prior exposure to retail or logistics environments considered an advantage.
- License: A valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle category assigned.
- Skills: Proficient in safe driving practices, knowledgeable about routes, effective time management, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
- Personal Attributes: Punctuality, honesty, responsibility, discipline, and a cooperative attitude are essential.
- Physical Requirements: Physically fit to perform driving duties and capable of assisting with light loading or unloading tasks when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Immediate joining is preferable for this position. The monthly salary ranges between Rs 32,000 and Rs 35,000. The role requires in-person attendance at the designated work locations.
