Accountant

Dropway Express seeks an experienced Accountant with at least four years of expertise in managing a wide range of accounting tasks including account reconciliation, cash and bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role involves diligent handling of daily accounts, managing cash on delivery (COD) reconciliation, and processing invoices, receipts, and payment records. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and Power Query, to streamline processes and ensure accuracy in financial data. The Accountant will assist with monthly financial reporting to support organizational decision-making. The Accountant operates independently without team management responsibilities but plays a crucial role in ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. This position demands attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and proficiency in settlement matching workflows to maintain the integrity of financial operations within Dropway Express.
Responsibilities

Perform daily account reconciliation to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Manage cash and bank reconciliations to maintain balanced accounts and precise financial records.
Oversee cash on delivery (COD) reconciliation, ensuring all payments are correctly accounted for.
Process and manage invoices, receipts, and payment records efficiently and accurately.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports by collecting and analyzing financial data.
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including PivotTables and Power Query, to analyze data and enhance reporting accuracy.
Implement and maintain settlement matching workflows to streamline reconciliation processes.
Maintain detailed and organized financial documentation to comply with company standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies and standard accounting procedures during all transactions.
Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
