Job Description

Branch Manager is responsible to execute branch policies and SOPs defined by the company, ensure delivery by constant monitoring and taking overall responsibility of the branch. It includes maintaining and adjusting operations to stay within the budget and making any changes necessary to sustain the projected profit margin

  • Maintain effective product displays and ensures 100% availability of products at store level through coordination with supply chain team
  • Manage branch operations by initiating, coordinating/enforcing program as per defined branch SOPs
  • Staff training, performance management and management of staffing requirements for the retail network
  • Maintains necessary inventory levels, request stocks, coordinate deliveries and inter store transfers.
  • Maintain contact and friendly relationships with customers and suppliers, building a favourable company image. Resolve problems and complaints as they arise.
  • Maintain positive attitude towards customers and associates by being friendly and courteous. Provide customer assistance as needed. This will include over the counter, over the phone, etc.
  • Achieve the assigned sales target.
  • Manages workflow to assist staff in balancing priorities, providing backup support if needed and otherwise ensuring that all work is accomplished with an appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Maintain the stability of the store by complying with legal requirements of the company
  • Branch level reports regards to sales and stock on regular basis
  • Manage audit /self-audit activity as per company assigned criteria and assure risk free operations.
  • Maintain branch security, opening and closing of branch, oversee cash deposit activity.
  • Review daily reports, taking appropriate action as needed
  • Ensure to verify all the sales return made during the day and reconcile it with physical inventory
  • Ensure that the designated people are reconciling the report and cash at the time of closing each shift
  • To ensure that all related works must be done as per the company code of conducts and policies and customer requirements e.g. environment, social compliance, health & safety, quality etc.
  • To perform any other task if been assigned by competitive/superior authority, if the incumbent has capability/potential of performing.
  • Responsible to manage store room space effectively, shelving/stacking of SKUs at branch, product discount and promotions are visible and advertised to attract the customer attention
