E-Commerce Inventory and Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Inventory and Supply Chain Specialist with international experience to oversee and optimize stock levels across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and expertise in inventory tracking and logistics coordination. This role involves monitoring stock movements to prevent shortages or overstocking, improving overall inventory efficiency, and coordinating international shipments. The specialist will work closely with couriers and maintain accurate stock records using inventory management software such as Veeqo.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage inventory forecasting systems and maintain the structure of stores and locations.
- Finalize all order details including packaging, blister packs, carton labels, and lead times.
- Verify invoices and ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
- Oversee China warehouse operations and collaborate with the China-based agent.
- Arrange shipments via air and sea, including container management and customs clearance.
- Coordinate unloading processes, packing lists, and update staffing requirements accordingly.
- Update final landed Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and input new stock into the system.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain product standards.
- Identify new products, niches, and market trends to support business growth.
- Work closely with designers to ensure packaging and manuals are current and compliant.
- Communicate and update relevant teams regarding sales data and advertising costs to align inventory with marketing efforts.

Required Qualifications

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively track and optimize stock movements.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, particularly Veeqo, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent English communication skills for liaising with international couriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL, as well as suppliers.
- Experience in arranging and coordinating international shipments, including managing container shipments from China to destinations such as the UK, Australia, and Ireland.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for stock tracking, reporting, and financial calculations.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to efficiently handle multiple inventory-related tasks.
- Familiarity with shipping cost calculations, including the use of container shipping calculators to estimate per-product shipping expenses.
