E-pack Private Limited is seeking a diligent Accounts Officer / Accountant to manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records. The ideal candidate holds a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, BBA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification and possesses at least two years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting functions. This role involves recording cash receipts and payments, processing invoices, performing bank reconciliations, preparing payroll records, and generating thorough financial reports. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is essential to efficiently manage financial data and support the companys financial integrity and compliance. This position demands a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational capability to ensure accuracy and completeness in accounting entries and documentation. The Accounts Officer / Accountant will closely collaborate with various departments to maintain up-to-date purchase, sales, expense records, and support document verification. Although this role does not include team management responsibilities, the candidate must independently oversee the full scope of accounting tasks and ensure timely reporting to management, contributing to the financial health and strategic planning of E-pack Private Limited.
Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting records and bookkeeping with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Record cash receipts and payments on a daily basis, ensuring all entries are up to date.
  • Enter sales invoices, purchase invoices, and vendor bills into the accounting software system promptly.
  • Update and maintain detailed purchase, sales, and expense records to support financial tracking.
  • Process supplier payments efficiently and maintain payable schedules to manage company liabilities.
  • Record bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive salary and payroll records to ensure timely and accurate compensation.
  • Verify all supporting financial documents and ensure proper organization and filing for easy retrieval and compliance.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to provide management with clear insights into company finances.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all accounting data in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
