CASH Officer

The CASH Officer at Easypaisa Digital Bank is responsible for managing cash transactions efficiently and accurately while maintaining strict adherence to cash handling procedures and compliance standards. This role ensures the integrity of all cash transactions, reconciliations, and record keeping to support the financial operations of the bank. The officer plays a vital role in facilitating smooth customer interactions related to cash services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and trust. This position requires a detail-oriented and diligent individual with a minimum of three years of experience in cash handling and reconciliation. The officer does not manage a team but must work collaboratively with other banking staff to ensure seamless transaction processing. Strong skills in compliance management and customer service are essential to uphold the bank's policies and provide exceptional service to clients at the cash counter.
Responsibilities

Process customer cash withdrawals and deposits accurately within assigned cash limits.
Sort and manage cash according to the clean note policy to maintain currency quality standards.
Accept and process inward and outward clearing instruments promptly and accurately on the bank’s system.
Reconcile daily cash balances by verifying system reports against physical cash vault registers.
Secure branch vault and shutter keys when required, ensuring controlled access and security.
Arrange and deliver collaterals linked to closed accounts to customers timely and accurately.
Perform daily reconciliation of Easy Paisa Merchant Portal and UBP transactions to maintain financial accuracy.
Ensure full compliance with prudential norms, Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines, and other regulatory requirements.
Serve as a backup resource for the Customer Service Officer and Operations Manager, fulfilling all defined responsibilities as required.
Assist the Operations Manager in miscellaneous operational assignments to support efficient branch operations.
Maintain auditable standards by ensuring that Independent Controls and Financial Reporting (ICFR) processes and reports are accurately recorded and accessible.
Foster a culture of risk and compliance management throughout daily activities, incorporating performance measures tied to individual compliance responsibilities.
Manage inherent compliance risks in daily tasks, updating systems, policies, and procedures as necessary to mitigate risks.
Demonstrate commitment to the Easypaisa Bank’s behaviors and values in all aspects of work conduct.
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards under varying workload conditions.
