Responsibilities:
- Develop design concepts and sketches based on current fashion trends, client needs, or personal creative vision.
- Select fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures for each design.
- Create prototypes and samples of designs using patterns and sewing techniques
- Stay updated with fashion trends, industry developments, and competitive brands.
- Analyze consumer preferences and feedback to guide design decisions.
- Work with pattern makers, seamstresses, and other production staff to bring designs to life.
- Meet with clients to discuss their fashion needs and preferences.
- Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure designs are produced according to specifications.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a brand's identity and style.
