Ecommerce - Shopify SEO Specialist (Leather Jackets)

We are seeking a skilled Shopify SEO Specialist with at least two years of proven experience specifically within the Leather Jackets or Apparel industry. This role requires a candidate who has demonstrated success in driving organic traffic, improving search rankings, and increasing sales for Shopify stores focused on leather jackets or related apparel. Candidates without direct leather jackets industry experience will not be considered. The position is full-time, based in Karachi, Pakistan, and requires on-site work. Compensation includes a salary plus commission, commensurate with experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies tailored for Shopify stores selling leather jackets and related apparel.
- Conduct detailed keyword research focused on leather jackets, leather apparel, and associated products.
- Perform competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Optimize Shopify product, collection, and category pages for improved search visibility.
- Enhance title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt text, and product content for SEO best practices.
- Identify and target high-value commercial and transactional keywords.
- Improve internal linking structures and overall Shopify site architecture.
- Conduct technical SEO audits to address issues such as indexing, canonical tags, sitemaps, redirects, and duplicate content.
- Monitor performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics/GA4.
- Analyze keyword rankings, organic traffic, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.
- Perform competitor backlink and content-gap analyses.
- Develop and execute ethical link-building strategies to boost domain authority.
- Create and manage SEO content strategies for product pages, collections, and blog posts.
- Collaborate with content writers to produce SEO-optimized materials.
- Identify opportunities to enhance organic revenue and conversion rates.
- Provide regular SEO performance reports and actionable recommendations for growth.
- Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and evolving Shopify SEO best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on SEO experience within the Leather Jackets or Apparel industry.
- Proven expertise in Shopify SEO, including on-page, technical, and off-page optimization.
- Strong skills in keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Proficient with Google Search Console and Google Analytics/GA4.
- Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce SEO fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize product and collection pages effectively.
- Good knowledge of technical SEO elements including indexing, canonical tags, redirects, and structured data.
- Ability to analyze SEO data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

The monthly salary for this position can go up to Rs100,000, depending on experience and skill level. The role requires in-person attendance at the Karachi office.
