We are seeking a skilled Shopify Plus specialist to take full ownership of the quality, content, and performance of our Shopify stores. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that every product listing, page update, theme modification, and app integration is accurate, on-brand, and optimized for conversion both before and after going live. The position combines elements of store operations, quality assurance, and conversion rate optimization, with a focus on international direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands targeting primarily the UK and EU markets. Strong written English skills and an understanding of these customer bases are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, update, and quality assure product listings, including titles, descriptions, variants, metafields, collections, tags, SEO fields, and imagery.
- Write and edit clear, on-brand, and conversion-focused copy for homepage banners, product detail pages (PDPs), landing pages, and marketing campaigns in UK English.
- Manage bulk product updates and imports using tools such as CSV files or Matrixify, ensuring live data remains intact.
- Monitor site speed, Core Web Vitals, and uptime, identifying and flagging any regressions following theme or app updates.
- Analyze Shopify Analytics and reports—covering metrics like conversion rate, average order value (AOV), sessions, funnel drop-off, and top-performing products—and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Propose and assist with conversion rate optimization (CRO) tests on homepage and PDPs, tracking and reporting on outcomes.
- Maintain accurate pricing, stock levels, shipping options, and market settings across UK, EU, and other regions using Shopify Markets.
- Build and update homepage, collection, and PDP layouts by working with sections, blocks, and metafields within custom Online Store 2.0 themes.
- Install, configure, and test third-party apps such as reviews, subscriptions, upsells, search, translation, loyalty programs, and email/SMS integrations.
- Conduct thorough QA of app behavior across multiple devices, browsers, and markets, identifying conflicts or performance issues.
- Test every change prior to launch, including links, forms, cart and checkout flows, discounts, translations, currencies, and mobile layouts.
- Maintain a QA checklist and bug log, collaborating with developers and agencies to resolve issues.
- Provide concise weekly reports summarizing store health, resolved issues, and new opportunities.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing Shopify stores, with direct hands-on work on Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms.
- Excellent written and spoken English, capable of producing polished, persuasive copy for PDPs and homepages.
- Practical knowledge of CRO principles, including page hierarchy, trust signals, social proof, mobile user experience, and A/B testing.
- Demonstrated experience working with international D2C brands, preferably within the UK and/or EU markets, including familiarity with Shopify Markets, multi-currency, and multi-language setups.
- Strong skills in product listing management, including PDP content, variants, metafields, collections, bulk imports, and product SEO.
- Proven ability to set up, configure, and quality assure Shopify apps and integrations.
- Confidence in reading and interpreting Shopify Analytics, with the ability to explain changes and their impact.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing and quality assurance.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with dynamic international brands, ensuring their Shopify stores deliver a seamless, engaging, and high-converting customer experience. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in Shopify Plus, this position will allow you to make a significant impact on store performance and growth.
