About the Role

We are looking for a forward-thinking, digitally native Scriptwriter with a strong creative instinct and a pulse on evolving culture and technology.

The ideal candidate is innovation-oriented, technologically adept, and highly attuned to emerging trends across national and international social media platforms, with the ability to turn insights into fresh, relevant, and engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scripts, storylines, dialogues, and creative concepts for digital products, branded content, and social media.

Coordinate with Commercial and Business teams to understand requirements, objectives, audiences, and client expectations.

Collaborate with Creative and Production teams to develop and lock concepts, scripts, and brand direction.

Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, messaging, and campaign objectives.

Stay updated on emerging social media trends, formats, creators, memes, and cultural conversations locally and internationally.

Adapt content across platforms and formats, including short-form, long-form, Reels, and live content.

Incorporate feedback, manage multiple projects, and deliver within deadlines.

Requirements

25 years of relevant scriptwriting experience.

Strong storytelling, dialogue writing, editing, and concept development skills.

Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to generate fresh and unconventional ideas.

Digitally native, with a strong understanding of Gen Z and contemporary digital culture.

Technologically adept, with an interest in AI tools, emerging technologies, and new content formats.

Highly attuned to national and international social media trends.

Excellent command of English and Urdu; Roman Urdu is a plus.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Portfolio of relevant creative/scriptwriting work preferred.

Responsibilities
Develop compelling scripts, storylines, dialogues, and creative concepts tailored for digital products, social media platforms, and branded content.

Collaborate closely with commercial and business teams to comprehend project requirements, target audiences, client objectives, and campaign goals.

Partner with creative and production teams to refine, develop, and finalize concepts, scripts, and brand directions that resonate with target audiences.

Ensure all created content aligns with brand voice, tone, messaging strategies, and overall campaign objectives to maintain consistency and effectiveness.

Continuously monitor and analyze emerging social media trends, cultural conversations, creators, memes, and content formats on both local and international levels.

Adapt and optimize content for various platforms including short-form videos, long-form narratives, Reels, and live digital content to maximize engagement.

Incorporate feedback constructively and manage multiple projects simultaneously, consistently delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AI tools and emerging technologies relevant to scriptwriting and content creation.

Uphold a strong understanding of the preferences and cultural nuances of Generation Z and contemporary digital audiences.

Maintain a detailed and organized portfolio showcasing a range of creative scriptwriting works that highlight innovation and adaptation to new content trends.
