Economics Teacher – O Levels

We are seeking an experienced Economics teacher to deliver high-quality instruction to O/A level students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive lesson plans, developing curriculum materials, and ensuring that students achieve a strong understanding of the subject. This role requires active involvement in curriculum development, timely submission of planning documents, and the integration of Islamic values into lesson content wherever applicable. The teacher will also be expected to assess student work thoroughly and support their academic progress effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Economics to O/A level students with clarity and engagement.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans and lecture materials aligned with curriculum goals.
- Actively participate in curriculum development and submit all planning and related projects on schedule.
- Define clear teaching and learning objectives, specifying methods of instruction and assessment.
- Ensure students acquire and consolidate the necessary knowledge, skills, and understanding relevant to Economics.
- Incorporate Islamic integration into lesson plans wherever possible to enrich the learning experience.
- Evaluate and check students’ work efficiently and provide constructive feedback.

Required Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge International Examination syllabus.
- Excellent subject knowledge and effective delivery skills.
- Good organizational and planning abilities to manage lesson preparation and curriculum development.
- High energy level and self-motivation to maintain a dynamic classroom environment.
- Proficient command of both written and spoken English.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address classroom challenges.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of teaching experience in a similar role is preferred.
- A Master’s degree is preferred, with a minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree.
