Editorial Partnerships & Media Executive

Tech Revolt is the GCC’s independent technology newsroom, focused on enterprise AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, startups, fintech, and other sectors shaping the region. With media partnerships including GITEX Global, Global AI Show Riyadh, and GITEX AI Europe (Berlin), we are building a regional editorial base that covers the most impactful technology stories. As a small, agile team, every member contributes by writing, shipping, and owning their outcomes.

We are seeking an Editorial Partnerships & Media Executive to enhance Tech Revolt’s editorial ecosystem through strategic partnerships, newsletters, and audience engagement. This hybrid role involves daily writing, managing the newsletter, and serving as the operational link between the editorial team and media partners. The position focuses on startups, fintech, and crypto, requiring a balance of editorial contribution and partnership management.

Key Responsibilities
- Cover startups, fintech, and crypto as a dedicated beat reporter, producing daily news and feature stories that meet Tech Revolt’s editorial standards.
- Own the publication of the Tech Revolt newsletter, delivering original framing and insightful analysis on a regular schedule.
- Manage media partner deliverables end to end, including coordinating thought-leadership speaking opportunities and ensuring commitments are met on time.
- Support Tech Revolt’s intellectual property events through planning, editorial input, and execution.
- Provide on-the-ground support for media events both regionally and internationally as required.
- Coordinate interviews, video partnerships, and speaker engagements in collaboration with the wider team.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in tech journalism, business media, editorial roles, or communications.
- Strong writing skills with a clear, engaging voice and the ability to produce clean copy under daily deadlines.
- Genuine interest and working knowledge of startups, fintech, and crypto, including the regional and global landscapes.
- Experience running or contributing to newsletters, or a strong willingness to take full ownership of one.
- Proven ability to manage partner relationships and deliver on commitments reliably.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously without compromising quality.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preferred candidates will have an existing network of sources within the GCC tech, fintech, or startup sectors. Experience covering or collaborating on industry events is advantageous, as is familiarity with video, audio, or on-camera work. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
