Educational Counselor

The organization provides comprehensive support throughout the entire process, including university selection, application strategy, scholarship guidance, visa and immigration assistance, English language testing support, and pre-departure preparation. This full-time, on-site Educational Counselor position is based in Lahore and offers an opportunity to work closely with students to facilitate their study abroad journeys.

Key Responsibilities
The Educational Counselor will be responsible for guiding students through every stage of the study abroad process. This includes evaluating academic profiles, recommending appropriate programs and destinations, and assisting with application timelines and documentation. Daily tasks involve conducting counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, and coordinating support for visa applications and test preparations. The counselor must stay informed about international education systems and maintain strong relationships with partner institutions. Providing personalized, ethical, and accurate guidance to each student is essential. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with internal teams to track student progress, manage records, and contribute to outreach initiatives such as seminars, workshops, and information sessions. Participation in student recruitment events and marketing activities is also expected.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have strong expertise in educational consulting and a solid understanding of international study pathways and admission processes. Experience in student and career counseling is essential, with the ability to assess student profiles and recommend suitable academic and career options. Excellent communication skills are a must, including proficiency in spoken and written English, active listening, and the ability to simplify complex information in a supportive manner. A minimum of a four-year Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s degree preferred. Candidates must have at least two years of prior experience in study abroad advising, university admissions, or education consultancy. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, student-facing environment while adhering to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory counseling practices is critical.
