Senior Taxation Accountant

Eila Solutions is seeking detail-oriented and motivated Senior Taxation Accountants to join their Finance team in Karachi at two distinct locations: Clifton Head Office and Port Qasim Office. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting activities, supporting tax compliance efforts, and assisting with financial reporting and reconciliations. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in accounting principles and tax regulations, who are proactive and organized in their approach to work. The Senior Taxation Accountant will play a significant role in ensuring all financial documentation and reporting comply with applicable standards and regulations. While the position does not include team management responsibilities, it requires collaboration within the finance team to support tax compliance efforts, income and sales tax documentation, and routine financial reporting. The working schedule is Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering a competitive monthly salary based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Manage daily bookkeeping including preparation of journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
Assist in income tax and sales tax documentation, compliance, and filing activities.
Support the preparation and review of routine financial reports and management information.
Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity and accuracy.
Maintain proper and organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Prepare and maintain professional correspondence with internal team members and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with the finance team to meet accounting and reporting requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate responses to tax authorities and regulatory bodies as needed.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards relevant to the organization.
