Electric Vehicle Production Manager - TJ / 1898807

Our client, Unique Batteries, is seeking an experienced Electric Vehicle (EV) Production Manager based in Hyderabad to lead the manufacturing process of electric vehicle batteries. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electronics, electrical, or mechatronics engineering, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the EV, automotive, or motorcycle manufacturing industries. This role demands a proactive professional who can effectively manage production planning, quality control, and process improvements while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency. The EV Production Manager will oversee a team of 10 individuals and coordinate cross-functional efforts to achieve production targets and maintain superior product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the production, assembly, and supervision of EV motorcycles, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Manage EV electrical systems, including wiring, controllers, BLDC/PMSM motors, batteries, and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Oversee vehicle integration, conduct testing, diagnostics, and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain high performance.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Drive continuous process improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency and resolve technical challenges.
- Handle production planning, capacity management, and coordinate End-of-Line (EOL) testing and quality control activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in EV, automotive, or motorcycle manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in managing capacity planning, material requirements planning, and quality assurance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a production team effectively.
- Familiarity with safety compliance standards and regulatory requirements relevant to EV battery manufacturing.
