ELECTRICAL DRAFTSMAN FOR FAISLABAD

Based in Faisalabad, this role requires an experienced Electrical Drafter with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within an engineering or design consultancy environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings and layouts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. This position demands proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) using AutoCAD.
- Develop electrical power and distribution layouts.
- Create layouts for electrical panels, transformers, generators, UPS systems, cable trays, lighting, and small power systems.
- Develop and update As-Built / As-Installed Electrical Drawings based on site observations and engineering markups.
- Convert hand sketches, site measurements, and existing drawings into professional AutoCAD drawings.
- Revise drawings according to engineering comments and site modifications.
- Prepare electrical schematic diagrams, details, sections, and equipment layouts.
- Conduct site visits for verification, measurements, and preparation of as-built drawings as required.
- Coordinate electrical drawings with engineers and other disciplines to ensure consistency.
- Maintain proper drawing standards, including layers, symbols, dimensions, title blocks, and revision control.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting.
- Prior experience in consultancy or design environments is essential.
- Excellent command of AutoCAD 2D software.
- Strong practical experience in preparing SLDs, electrical power layouts, and as-built drawings.
- Good understanding of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical distribution systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation accurately.
- High attention to detail and precision in work.
- Capability to work independently and manage project deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience in electrical audits, inspections, industrial or commercial projects, electrical design, and consultancy assignments will be considered an advantage. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 150,000. The work location requires in-person attendance, providing hands-on involvement with site activities and team coordination.
