We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in low-voltage (LV) panel installation, generator systems, utilities electrical works, and projects related to power plants or NAMA grid stations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. This role requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients to deliver complex electrical engineering projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems, including detailed layouts and wiring diagrams. Perform load calculations and prepare comprehensive technical drawings. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Manage LV panels, switchgear, and cabling works efficiently, and handle generator installation and commissioning with precision. Lead utilities, power plant, and grid station projects from initial planning through to successful completion. Utilize Primavera software to plan, schedule, and monitor project progress. Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings to support design and execution phases. Maintain strong communication with clients to understand their requirements and provide timely updates. Lead and manage engineering and site teams to ensure projects are executed on schedule and meet quality expectations. Troubleshoot electrical faults and conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations. Prepare detailed project reports, budgets, and technical documentation. Support quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience in electrical system design, installation, and commissioning. Proficiency in Primavera for project scheduling and monitoring. Skilled in AutoCAD for preparing and updating electrical drawings. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices. Hands-on experience with LV panels, switchgear, cabling, generators, and utility projects. Excellent client handling and team leadership skills. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Effective coordination and site execution capabilities.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary range of Rs225,000 to Rs245,000.
