Electrical Engineer

Reliable Engineering Services is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage electrical works at the project site. The role involves supervising installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, safety standards, and relevant engineering codes. The position is site-based at DHA City Karachi, requiring the candidate to be present on-site to monitor electrical activities, conduct inspections, and maintain quality and safety throughout the project duration.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor all electrical installation activities at the project site.
- Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, material submittals, and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Inspect electrical materials, equipment, and installations to verify adherence to approved specifications.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure proper installation of power distribution systems, lighting, wiring, earthing, and other electrical infrastructure components.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects, non-conformities, and technical issues.
- Enforce compliance with electrical codes, project standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, approvals, and site progress.
- Prepare comprehensive electrical inspection reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
- Identify site issues promptly and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of electrical works.
- Remain available on-site to supervise electrical activities and resolve technical challenges as they arise.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly in construction projects and site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, power distribution, lighting systems, wiring, earthing, and electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings, testing procedures, applicable codes, and engineering standards.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Competence in inspecting electrical works to ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Willingness to work and stay at the project site as required.

This position is strictly site-based at DHA City Karachi. Candidates must be prepared to remain at the assigned project location for the duration of the project to ensure continuous supervision and management of electrical works.
