Electrical Site & EV Charging Engineer - TJ / 1908427

Tecno Group is seeking a qualified Electrical Site & EV Charging Engineer based in Karachi to manage and oversee on-site electrical projects, with a focus on low-voltage installations and electric vehicle (EV) charging systems. The role involves conducting thorough electrical site surveys, performing load calculations, and preparing precise as-built documentation to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and between three to five years of hands-on experience in electrical site work, building services, or solar and EV charging installations. This position requires coordination with contractors on-site to maintain safety and quality standards, as well as travel between Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi to supervise multiple project locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed electrical site surveys to evaluate existing conditions and project needs.
- Perform electrical load calculations to design safe, efficient low-voltage electrical systems.
- Prepare comprehensive as-built documentation accurately reflecting final installations.
- Manage and coordinate contractors on-site to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant electrical safety codes and building regulations.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to align technical specifications with overall project goals.
- Monitor installation progress and resolve any technical issues during the construction phase.
- Travel as required between Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi to oversee various project sites.
- Provide technical guidance and support related to solar installations and EV charging infrastructure.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in low-voltage electrical technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree (BE or BSc) in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in electrical site work, building services, solar, or EV charging system installations.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and building power systems.
- Proven ability to conduct electrical load calculations and prepare accurate as-built documentation.
- Experience coordinating and supervising contractors on-site.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently between Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently across diverse environments and multiple project locations.
