We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within our factory environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical knowledge of industrial electrical systems and be capable of independently handling a variety of electrical maintenance tasks to support continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Demonstrate expertise in 3-Phase electrical systems, including Star-Delta and Direct-On-Line (DOL) starters.
- Manage electrical panels, MCC panels, distribution boards, breakers, contactors, relays, timers, and overload devices.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in production machinery and factory equipment promptly.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Inspect and maintain motors, pumps, compressors, generators, and other electrical assets regularly.
- Apply knowledge of motor wiring, control circuits, power circuits, and electrical protection systems to maintain system integrity.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to voltage fluctuations, current irregularities, phase failures, short circuits, overloads, and earthing problems.
- Verify and maintain both single-phase and three-phase electrical connections.
- Read, interpret, and work from electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and control panel drawings accurately.
- Ensure proper cable sizing, termination, insulation, and secure electrical connections in compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot sensors, switches, limit switches, proximity sensors, and basic control devices.
- Perform regular inspections of electrical panels and machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures and ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep detailed records of electrical maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with maintenance and production teams to resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Carry out any additional electrical maintenance duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- DAE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant industrial or factory electrical experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance is essential.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot electrical faults in industrial machinery.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers (megger), and test lamps.
- Sound understanding of electrical earthing practices and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in the garment, textile, or manufacturing industry will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of 415V / 380V three-phase systems and 220–240V single-phase systems.
- Understanding of motor control circuits including Star-Delta and DOL starters.
- Familiarity with MCB, MCCB, ELCB/RCCB, contactors, overload relays, timers, and relays.
- Basic knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) or inverter operation and troubleshooting.

Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs 45,000 to Rs 50,000.

Work Location
This role requires in-person attendance at the factory site.
