Electronics Technician

This role involves ensuring continuous and reliable power operations at designated toll plazas by managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various power systems such as solar panels, UPS units, generators, inverters, and low voltage (LV) panels. The position also supports installation and commissioning activities while strictly adhering to safety protocols to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain uninterrupted 24/7 power supply at assigned toll plazas.
- Monitor inverter performance to track photovoltaic (PV) generation, grid availability, and battery state of charge (SOC).
- Accurately document voltage irregularities, breaker trips, and equipment faults, including photographic evidence where necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the Power Supervisor, JM Power, and AM Power teams to troubleshoot faults and complete tasks efficiently.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve faults in active equipment such as UPS systems, inverters, grid supply, solar panels, generators, automatic voltage regulators (AVRs), and short circuits.
- Perform installation and commissioning of new or repaired power equipment including AVRs, UPS units, inverters, solar panels, batteries, miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), and molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs).
- Ensure rapid resolution of power-related issues to reduce downtime and prevent service interruptions.
- Conduct daily inspections of power systems and coordinate with supervisors and power teams to address any issues.
- Follow safety standards rigorously during maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades.
- Escalate critical issues promptly and prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, fault resolutions, and power upgrade projects.
- Maintain precise records of generator fueling, system faults, weekly inspections, and assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electronics or a related technical discipline, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Technical certifications in power systems or electrical maintenance are advantageous.

Required Skills:
- Practical experience working with power systems including inverters, UPS units, solar panels, generators, AVRs, and LV panels.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to effectively diagnose and resolve power equipment faults.
- Ability to strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain detailed operational and maintenance documentation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with supervisors and power management teams.
- A safety-conscious approach with disciplined adherence to operational protocols.

This is a full-time position offering a monthly salary range of Rs 38,000 to Rs 42,000. The work location involves on-road assignments at various toll plazas.
