Eleven Optical Fiber Cable (SMC-Private) Limited seeks a dedicated Tax Accountant with a strong background in accounting, finance, or taxation. The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 5 years of experience and hold relevant professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA. This role demands an expert understanding of local tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate tax return preparation, effective tax compliance, and strategic tax planning. The successful candidate is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records, ensuring timely tax reporting, and identifying legal opportunities for tax savings. The Tax Accountant plays a crucial role in supporting the companys financial health by preparing profit and loss statements, managing bank reconciliations, and performing month-end and year-end close procedures in line with accounting standards such as IFRS or local GAAP. This position does not include team management responsibilities but requires strong collaboration with external auditors and internal stakeholders to support audit processes and provide comprehensive financial insights. The candidate will also assist in budget forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and cost control to support managements strategic decision-making and company growth.
Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly profit-and-loss statements and balance reports to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Conduct thorough reconciliation of bank statements and ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Perform timely and precise month-end and year-end closing routines following prescribed accounting standards and company policies.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws by preparing and filing tax returns and related compliance documentation accurately and on schedule.
Collaborate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate smooth audit processes.
Monitor and control cash flow by tracking expenditures, reviewing payroll, and analyzing financial transactions to optimize resource allocation.
Assist senior management in developing budget forecasts and estimating future revenue streams based on financial data analysis.
Generate and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial insights to management to support operational and strategic growth.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in taxation laws and accounting frameworks, adapting processes accordingly to ensure compliance.
Utilize tax filing software efficiently to enhance accuracy and streamline documentation and filing procedures.
Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for legal tax savings and improvements in financial efficiency.
