- Responsible for timely container purchases where required in best possible prices and quality.
- Meet requirement for the shipments in terms of container quality and type.
- To meet the sales target given by higher management.
- Identifying and exploring new ports / market to generate demands and supply.
- Responsible for master lease & lease / purchase matters of containers.
- Carry information regarding prevailing market condition, prices, demand & supply.
- Responsible to carry information of competitors, their service, upcoming companies.
- Responsible for purchase of quality containers on competitive prices by ensuring defined buying criteria.
- Responsibility of making contract of container leasing / mater lease with customers and off hiring matters.
- Responsible for making manufacturing contracts with international companies of ISO Brand New Containers and ensure to inspect them as per define quality parameters.
- Responsible to carry out inspection for used / brand new containers internationally.
- Responsible to ensure the release of the containers for timely shipments internationally.
- Managing container fleet matter like repairing, empty movements, stock keeping, long ageing matters etc.
- Responsible to release the payments to the supplier on time for smooth buying’s.
- Responsible for national / international correspondence with customer and supplier.
- To attend Intermodal / logistics meeting, conference on national and international level.
- To look after container depots matters and managing sales stock in them.
- To meet local and international customers and establish good relationship with them.
