Key Responsibilities
As an Elixir Intern at HawksTech, you will work on-site in Lahore, assisting in the development and maintenance of Elixir and Phoenix-based applications. Your daily tasks will include writing clean, testable code under the supervision of senior engineers, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and participating in code reviews. You will collaborate closely with team members on software design and architecture discussions. Additionally, you will contribute to creating basic documentation, learn best practices for version control and testing, and support integration with front-end components when necessary. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience with Elixir, modern web development workflows, and real-world product delivery within a supportive team environment.

Required Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Elixir and Phoenix, with a strong interest in functional programming and scalable web applications.
- Basic understanding of web development concepts such as HTTP, REST APIs, databases, and version control systems like Git.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code with attention to testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team-based, on-site environment in Lahore.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
