We are seeking a dedicated and skilled instructor to deliver comprehensive training in resuscitation techniques and emergency life support skills. The role involves conducting engaging, hands-on sessions for hospital staff and community members, ensuring all training materials and methods reflect the most current national and international guidelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating courses, assessing participant competency, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to uphold high standards of instruction and certification compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver hands-on training sessions and develop engaging lesson plans focused on resuscitation techniques such as CPR and the use of AEDs, as well as other emergency life support skills.
- Update and maintain training and course materials to ensure alignment with the latest scientific evidence and guidelines from authoritative bodies like the American Heart Association (AHA) and other national and international emergency protocols.
- Teach a variety of life support courses, including CPR, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), to hospital personnel and community participants.
- Conduct both in-person and online training sessions, utilizing simulators and mannequins to provide practical experience.
- Coordinate training schedules, manage logistics, and oversee participant registration processes to ensure smooth course delivery.
- Verify that all participants meet the necessary criteria to receive recognized certifications and ensure the instructor maintains current certifications.
- Assess participant understanding and practical skills through observation, practical sessions, and written tests, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Maintain accurate, organized records of participant progress, attendance, and performance in compliance with hospital policies, HR requirements, and AHA standards.
- Manage data related to monthly course fee deductions as required.
- Continuously update personal knowledge and skills by staying informed about the latest CPR guidelines, emergency procedures, and advancements in emergency medicine and patient care.
- Ensure all training equipment and materials are functional and readily available for each session.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to enhance quality and impact.
- Ensure all training activities comply with standards set by the hospital network, provincial, national, and international regulatory authorities.
- Maintain close collaboration with the Emergency Response Team at the network level to standardize training and provide guidance.
- Work alongside other instructors, institutions, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency in teaching methods and adherence to AHA guidelines.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Department that align with the candidate’s expertise.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in delivering resuscitation and emergency life support training, including CPR, ACLS, and PALS courses.
- Strong knowledge of current resuscitation guidelines and protocols from recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association.
- Ability to conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions effectively.
- Competence in assessing participant skills and providing constructive feedback.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage course logistics, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Commitment to maintaining personal certifications and staying updated with evolving emergency care practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences and collaborate with healthcare teams.
