ELV & IT Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled ELV & IT Manager/Engineer to lead the planning, coordination, implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV, security, hospitality technology, and IT infrastructure for a prestigious 5-star luxury hospitality real estate project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex systems within luxury hotels or large-scale developments, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the entire lifecycle of ELV and IT systems, from design development and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover. Oversee critical systems including Fire Alarm, Building Management System (BMS), Guest Room Management System (GRMS), In-Building Solutions/Distributed Antenna Systems (IBS/DAS), Perimeter Security, and Parking Management Systems.

Manage IP CCTV/Video Management Systems (VMS), Access Control, Baggage Scanners, Under Vehicle Surveillance Systems (UVSS), and Biometric Systems. Coordinate hospitality technology such as IPTV, Smart TVs, Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX), Audio-Visual (AV) Systems, Digital Signage, and Video Walls.

Supervise IT infrastructure components including LAN/WAN networks, Guest Wi-Fi (HSIA), Structured Cabling (Fiber/Cat6A), Server Rooms, Firewalls, and Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) setups. Ensure IT infrastructure supports Oracle OPERA Property Management System (PMS), Sun ERP, Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), virtualization, and backup solutions.

Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender proposals, shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements. Collaborate closely with system integrators, MEP contractors, consultants, vendors, and hotel operations teams to guarantee smooth project execution.

Ensure comprehensive integration, rigorous testing, commissioning, documentation, and operational handover of all systems. Monitor project progress, troubleshoot technical challenges, and maintain compliance with approved specifications and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in ELV, ICT, and building technology projects is essential.

Proven track record working on 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, commercial projects, or large-scale developments. Strong expertise in ELV systems, enterprise networking, data centers, hospitality technology, and system integration.

In-depth knowledge of Cisco/Aruba networking equipment, OPERA PMS, BMS, GRMS, CCTV/VMS, access control systems, IPTV, and structured cabling standards. Solid understanding of testing, commissioning, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and project handover processes.

Excellent skills in vendor management, technical coordination, and problem-solving are required to drive project success.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PMP, BICSI RCDD, or relevant Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) credentials will be considered an advantage.

The position offers a competitive monthly salary starting from Rs150,000. The role requires mobility with work primarily conducted on-site or on the road.

Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate relevant experience in ELV and IT infrastructure within high-rise or 5-star hospitality projects as outlined in this description. A bachelor’s degree is mandatory for consideration.
