Junior Web Developer

The Junior Web Developer at eMarspro is responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing websites and eCommerce platforms with a focus on WordPress and WooCommerce solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP to develop user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and visually appealing websites. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to learning and resolving technical challenges. Collaboration with team members and meeting project deadlines are key to delivering high-quality web solutions that align with client and company standards. This position requires a minimum of 2 to 3 years of practical experience in web development within an agency, corporate, or freelance setting. Although not responsible for managing a team, the Junior Web Developer plays a critical role in supporting project goals by customizing WordPress themes and plugins, optimizing site performance, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. The candidate must possess a keen eye for detail, an ability to independently research technical issues, and a portfolio showcasing relevant web and eCommerce projects reflecting their skill and creativity.
Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores to meet client requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
Create responsive and mobile-friendly web designs ensuring optimal user experience across devices.
Customize WordPress themes, child themes, templates, and plugins to enhance website functionality and aesthetics.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of websites including front-end issues, WordPress functionality, and plugin conflicts.
Optimize website performance through efficient coding practices, caching, and minimizing load times.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent display on various browsers and platforms.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality web projects on time.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve code quality.
Conduct thorough testing of websites before deployment to identify and fix bugs or performance issues.
Manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced development environment.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, customizations, and support procedures.
