As a Junior Finance Officer, you will be responsible for accounting, data entry and verification, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide finance support for timely monthly profitability reporting (MPR) including analytical of business results.
- Maintain financial systems and make updates when necessary.
- Carrying out monthly accounting procedures related to month-end.
- Maintaining vouchers, invoice and inventory record
- Assist in external audit
- Filing of relevant taxes
- Filing of EOBI
- Reviewing payroll
- Manage a monthly and quarterly reporting process.
- Co-ordinate and document the financial processes.
- Involvement in the annual business plan & budget process.
- Work on ad hoc projects as directed by senior management.
Requirements:
- Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 1-1.5 years related experience in bookkeeping, accounting and finance.
- Hands-on experience in budgeting and financial monitoring; financial management.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), including expertise in Excel as a financial management tool.
- Has previously worked on accounting software. We are using Wave financials software
- Detail-oriented with accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Working Hours:
10 am - 6 pmMondays - Fridays
