Engineer Branches operational manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Engineering Branch Operations Manager to lead and manage our engineering branch operations in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in B2B industrial business, engineering operations, and branch management. This role requires overseeing daily branch activities, managing technical teams, coordinating with industrial clients, and ensuring smooth execution of operational tasks. Candidates must have relevant experience strictly within B2B industrial or engineering sectors; experience in B2C, retail, or unrelated fields will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily operations of the engineering and industrial business branch, ensuring coordination between engineering, sales, procurement, warehouse, and administration departments.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor branch productivity, operational performance, and timely execution of customer orders and technical projects.
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve branch performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with industrial customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and corporate clients, coordinating technical and commercial requirements.
- Support business development initiatives and customer acquisition efforts.
- Supervise engineering teams, technicians, and technical support staff, overseeing machinery installation, maintenance, and industrial projects.
- Ensure proper allocation of manpower, equipment, and technical resources while coordinating with suppliers for machinery, spare parts, and technical materials.
- Lead branch employees by assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, conducting team meetings, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Monitor branch operating expenses, support budgeting and profitability analysis, and coordinate with finance on payments and supplier transactions.
- Oversee inventory management, warehouse operations, and stock availability, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements.
- Establish and track branch KPIs, prepare performance reports, and communicate operational results and recommendations to senior management.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in B2B industrial or engineering business operations.
- Relevant background in engineering branch operations, industrial business management, or technical operations.
- Practical experience working with manufacturers, industrial buyers, engineering companies, or corporate customers.
- Must be based in or willing to work full-time in Islamabad.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of engineering operations, industrial business processes, and technical coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Experience in multi-branch and cross-department coordination.
- Expertise in industrial customer relationship management and machinery operations.
- Project management and technical coordination capabilities.
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
- Skills in operational budgeting, cost control, KPI monitoring, and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM software platforms.
