Engineer Elevator

Join a dynamic team responsible for managing elevator projects from start to finish, including installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover. This role serves as the primary technical liaison with clients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will oversee site activities, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end execution of elevator projects, ensuring timely completion of installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, maintaining daily communication regarding project progress, site activities, technical requirements, and outstanding issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation activities, verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site-related challenges promptly to minimize delays and downtime.
- Coordinate effectively with installation teams, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and interpret elevator drawings, technical specifications, layouts, wiring diagrams, and installation requirements to guide project activities.
- Ensure proper alignment, installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of elevator systems according to project specifications.
- Prepare and maintain detailed daily and weekly project progress reports, site reports, issue logs, and other necessary documentation.
- Monitor project schedules closely and ensure all assigned activities are completed within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with clients for inspections, testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final handover processes.
- Attend client meetings to provide updates on project status and address technical matters.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, quality policies, and company requirements.
- Manage the resolution of client complaints, ensuring timely closure of technical and project-related issues.
- Support the preparation and completion of testing, commissioning, as-built documentation, and handover documents.
- Escalate critical technical or commercial issues to the Project Manager or senior management with appropriate recommendations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related Engineering discipline (BE/BSc).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in elevator or lift projects, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, or building services projects.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems related to elevator technology.
