Requirements:
- Apply security measures to protect the organization's sensitive data. For example, implement firewalls and data encryption programs.
- Scan networks every day, every week, and every month for vulnerabilities.
- Perform penetration testing by simulating an attack on the system to find any vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malicious people
- Keep an eye out for security breaches and intrusions. You will ensure that the organization's networks and systems are constantly monitored.
- In addition, recommend/install tools that alert us to intrusions and check for abnormal behavior on the system
- Assist with incident response activities. In the event of a security breach, you will be part of the incident response team. Do a technical and forensic study to determine how the breach occurred and the extent of the damage. Present your findings to management in written reports.
- The standardization of documents and examining vendor documents will be your responsibility.
Experience & Qualification
- Precise knowledge of penetration testing & vulnerability assessments
- Monitor and respond to incidents
- Working knowledge of IPS and IDS is desirable
- Experienced in rolling out and implementing Compliance Operations
- Understanding of DDOS and phishing threats and their mitigation
- Ability to use a variety of technologies, including Ruby on Rails, VueJS, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
- Working knowledge of Kali Linux
- Use the BURPS suite, OWASP ZAP proxy, or another debugging tool
- Audits of OWASP Top 10 issues are performed efficiently by the auditor
- Scripting expertise in Python and Bash
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiastic and eager to work independently
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)SOC Analyst / CISSP / CISA SDLC experience is highly appreciated.
