Enterprise Architect

Ciklum is seeking a full-time Enterprise Architect to join its team in Pakistan. As a custom product engineering company, Ciklum supports multinational organizations and growing startups in solving complex business challenges. With a global workforce of over 4,000 skilled developers, consultants, analysts, and product owners, the company delivers technology solutions that transform industries and improve everyday life. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional development team to design and implement future-ready enterprise architectures for a leading global professional services network specializing in audit, tax, consulting, risk, and financial advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and align business goals and objectives with architectural strategies.
- Gather and analyze primary software functionality, quality attributes, and constraints.
- Develop comprehensive business, information, and technology architecture mappings.
- Define and communicate an architecture vision that meets significant requirements through trade-off analysis, proof of concepts, and benchmarking.
- Establish and maintain architecture design and documentation processes.
- Document and present architecture decisions and trade-offs to key stakeholders.
- Review and validate design decisions from downstream teams to ensure alignment with the overall solution architecture vision.

Required Qualifications
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Over 7 years of commercial experience in software development.
- More than 3 years of experience in solution architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of data management, integration, and transformation techniques.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and their rationale.
- Experience guiding software development, testing, deployment, and project management activities.
- Solid foundation in Computer Science principles including architectural and design patterns, algorithms, paradigms, database theory, and code testing practices.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Databricks, and Azure Service Bus.
- Proficiency with database management systems including Microsoft SQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with .NET Core 3 framework.
- Strong client-facing, business consulting, and communication skills with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and influence senior client stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build long-term relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading medium to large-scale solution delivery projects and analyzing business, product, and technology requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., SEI, TOGAF), cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure), and delivery methodologies (SAFe, Agile) are highly desirable.
- Experience with release and configuration management tools, infrastructure as code, and pre-sales or proposal preparation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Databricks is advantageous.
