Enterprise Architect

Ciklum is seeking a full-time Enterprise Architect to join its team in Pakistan. As a custom product engineering company, we support multinational organizations and scaling startups in solving complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 skilled professionals, including developers, consultants, analysts, and product owners, we create technology solutions that redefine industries and improve lives. In this role, you will work within a cross-functional development team on projects for one of the largest professional services networks worldwide, delivering audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk, and financial advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage key business stakeholders to establish effective communication channels.
- Define business goals and objectives clearly.
- Gather and analyze primary software functionality, quality attributes, and constraints.
- Develop and map business, information, and technology architectures.
- Create an architecture vision that meets significant requirements through trade-off analysis, proof of concepts, and benchmarking.
- Establish and manage architecture design and documentation processes.
- Document and communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to major stakeholders.
- Review and validate design decisions from downstream teams to ensure alignment with the solution architecture vision.

Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Over 7 years of commercial experience in software development.
- More than 3 years of experience in solution architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of data management, integration, and transformation techniques.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and their rationale.
- Experience guiding software development, testing, deployment, and project management activities.
- Solid foundation in computer science and computing theory, including architectural and design patterns, algorithms, paradigms, principles, database theory, and code testing practices.
- Practical experience with microservices architecture and cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Databricks, and Azure Service Bus.
- Proficiency with database management systems including Microsoft SQL and MongoDB.
- Experience working with .NET Core 3.
- Strong business skills, including client-facing, consulting, and communication abilities.
- Ability to clearly explain and justify design decisions, influence senior client stakeholders, and build long-term relationships with both business and technical teams.
- Experience leading medium to large solution delivery projects and analyzing business, product, and technology requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Certifications in architecture frameworks such as SEI or TOGAF, cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, and delivery methodologies including SAFe or Agile are highly desirable.
- Experience with release and configuration management tools, infrastructure as code, and pre-sales or proposal preparation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Databricks is an advantage.
