Enterprise Resources Planning Developer

The ERP Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Karachi Division. This role involves designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining ERP modules that support core business functions within Sowaan’s product ecosystem, with a primary focus on Sowaan ERP. The developer will analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, configure ERP workflows, and implement new features or enhancements to improve system functionality. Collaboration with business analysts and end users is essential to troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and maintain data integrity across integrated systems and databases. The role also includes documenting technical solutions, supporting deployment activities, and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of ERP tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize ERP modules to support business processes.
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications.
- Configure ERP workflows and implement new features or enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and end users to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
- Ensure data integrity and seamless integration between ERP and other systems.
- Document technical solutions and support deployment and maintenance activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to ERP tools and processes.

Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in ERP software with hands-on experience in implementing or customizing ERP modules.
- Solid software development skills, including coding, debugging, and performance optimization in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Understanding of business process design and analysis, with the ability to map workflows and translate requirements into system configurations.
- Practical experience working with databases, including data modeling, querying, and integration between ERP and other systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Focus on delivering user-centric solutions that meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
