Enterprise Resources Planning Project Manager (Software)

The ERP Project Manager (Software) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. This position involves leading the planning, execution, and delivery of Open Source ERP implementations. The role requires managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and go-live activities. The ERP Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate mapping of business processes to ERP capabilities. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, preparing status reports, mitigating risks and issues, supporting change management initiatives, conducting user training, and collaborating closely with technical teams and external vendors. Additionally, the role focuses on continuous improvement of ERP utilization, workflow optimization, and alignment of solutions with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Gather and analyze business requirements to design effective ERP solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including technical staff and vendors, to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Track project milestones, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Support change management processes, including user training and development of user manuals.
- Optimize ERP workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure alignment of ERP solutions with organizational objectives and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing ERP software implementation projects, preferably with Open Source ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, diagnose problems, and support decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of business process analysis and redesign to align workflows with ERP functionality.
- Competence in budgeting and financial management to control project costs effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, communicate effectively, and negotiate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in change management, including conducting user training and preparing user documentation.
