Job Description

We are looking for a Product Owner who oversees the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet the clients needs and preferences.

Requirements

• Works closely with Product Managers and collaborates on the roadmap for the future quarter.

• Manages and prioritizes team’s product backlog.

• Defines iterations and stories, establishes story acceptance criteria and accepts stories and increments.

• Support team in achieving sprint goals and Product Increment Objectives and mitigates impediments for the team.

• Oversees all stages of product creation including design and development.

• Monitors and evaluates product progress at each stage of the process.

• Coordinates with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.

• Participates in Scrum meetings and product sprints.

• Understands enabler work and collaborates with Solution Architects.

• Prepares team and facilitates demos in coordination with Scrum Master.

• Coordinates with other Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects and UX and Business users.

• Translates business requirements to teams and provides direction when questions arise.

• 3-5 years’ experience working as a product owner or 5+ years as an IT Analyst working in a product-oriented organization.

• Good at understanding business.

• Expertise in specific technical and/or industry knowledge related to retail omnichannel Digital or consumer services at scale.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively between business and technical teams

• Ability to influence, motivate and ensure execution

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure

• Proven partnering/relationship building abilities and effective communication with small and large groups

• Ability to understand technical concepts and evaluate tradeoffs

• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment operating at both a strategic and tactical level

• Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure

• Team player who collaborates well with others

• Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative

• Experience with JIRA and related product development software (TargetProcess experience a plus)

• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Computer Science/MIS or a blend of education and relevant experience expected

• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or Certified SAFe Product Owner certifications a plus

• Experience working in agile required; SAFe experience preferred.
