The ERP Officer – Data Entry Operator will be responsible for the accurate and timely entry of operational data into the ERP system. This role demands strong attention to detail, solid computer skills, and the ability to maintain precise ERP records. Candidates must have prior ERP experience along with mandatory exposure to the textile industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter daily operational transactions into the ERP system within designated timelines.
- Maintain and update ERP records to ensure data integrity.
- Input data related to inventory, production, purchases, sales, stores, dispatch, and other assigned functions.
- Verify source documents carefully before entering data into the ERP system.
- Review ERP entries for errors, duplications, or missing information and take corrective action.
- Liaise with relevant departments to clarify incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all ERP transactions.
- Assist the ERP Master User in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
- Generate basic ERP reports as required by management.
- Conduct data verification and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure timely completion of all assigned ERP transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and operational data at all times.
- Adhere to established ERP procedures and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support ERP audits and data verification activities as needed.
- Perform other ERP and data-entry-related tasks assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Intermediate qualification with relevant ERP experience.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on ERP exposure is essential.
- Textile industry experience is mandatory.
- Proficient typing and computer skills.
- Good command of MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a textile manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP-based inventory, production, purchase, stores, or sales transactions.
- Understanding of textile manufacturing terminology and processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other manufacturing ERP platforms is advantageous.
