ERPNext Developer

We are looking for an experienced ERPNext Developer to lead the development, customization, implementation, integration, and optimization of ERPNext solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python, the Frappe Framework, JavaScript, database management, and ERP architecture. This role requires someone capable of leading technical projects and translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, customization, and implementation of ERPNext applications and modules. Develop custom DocTypes, workflows, server and client scripts, reports, dashboards, print formats, and business logic tailored to organizational needs. Customize ERPNext modules such as HR & Payroll, Accounts, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, CRM, and Manufacturing.

Develop and maintain custom applications using Python, JavaScript, and the Frappe Framework. Design and implement integrations with third-party systems and external APIs through REST APIs and web services. Manage ERPNext deployments, upgrades, migrations, backups, and production environments.

Optimize database queries, system performance, and application architecture to ensure efficiency. Troubleshoot complex technical issues to maintain system stability, security, and data integrity. Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and enforce development standards and best practices.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team. Collaborate with management, department heads, and end users to gather requirements and deliver effective ERP solutions. Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and system architecture documentation. Evaluate new ERPNext and Frappe features and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Four to six years of relevant experience in ERPNext development and implementation. Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and the Frappe Framework.

Advanced experience with ERPNext customization and custom application development. Solid knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL, SQL queries, database optimization, and data migration. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and web services.

Experience with Linux server administration, Git, deployment processes, and production troubleshooting. Understanding of ERP architecture, role-based permissions, workflows, and business process automation. Proven ability to manage ERPNext upgrades, version compatibility, and performance optimization.

Strong leadership, analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading ERPNext implementation projects from requirements gathering through deployment. Familiarity with Docker, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments. Knowledge of accounting, finance, inventory, procurement, HR, payroll, and manufacturing processes.

Experience with background jobs, scheduled tasks, hooks, custom APIs, and advanced Frappe development. Understanding of Agile development methodologies and project management practices.

Work Location and Hours

The position is based in Lahore, Pakistan, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
