The ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority) team at Octus is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join its Pakistan office. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of the firm’s regulatory data reporting service, working closely with management to influence product and data development. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client data inflows and maintaining a comprehensive database of issuers, loans, and deal sites, ensuring accuracy and proper asset identification. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential, as the role involves liaising with internal teams and external clients while championing the ESMA product.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the inflow of client data and maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of issuers, loans, and deal sites.
- Conduct issuer research to establish correct relationships and accurately identify assets.
- Serve as the KYC (Know Your Customer) point person for the product, ensuring client and contract records are precise and current.
- Collaborate with the Product team to oversee workflows, contract execution, and invoicing processes.
- Develop and implement mechanisms to streamline data collection centralization and integrate relevant metrics into the ESMA product.
- Act as an advocate for clients by understanding their needs and requirements thoroughly.
- Provide education and guidance on the ESMA Article 7 framework to client relationships.

Required Qualifications

- Experience in fixed income operations.
- Solid understanding of broader financial markets.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter while also being an effective team player.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks diligently and efficiently.
