Operations Manager

Espresso Lab is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily caf operations in their premium international coffee brand outlet located in DHA Phase VI, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in hospitality operations, particularly in caf or restaurant environments, and will be responsible for leading a team of five people. This role demands strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a proven ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and inventory across multiple operational dimensions. The Operations Manager will ensure strict compliance with brand standards, health and safety protocols, and cash handling procedures while continuously pursuing service quality improvements. As an integral part of Espresso Lab's management, the candidate will coordinate closely with international franchisors, oversee staff recruitment, training, performance management, and work alongside marketing teams to support seasonal campaigns and promotional activities. The role also includes identifying business growth opportunities and managing multi-outlet operations with a strong focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and monitor daily caf operations, including budgeting, sales performance, and forecasting to ensure operational targets are achieved.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of five staff members, handling recruitment, performance evaluation, training, and ongoing staff development to build a motivated workforce.
Maintain exceptional customer service standards to enhance customer experience and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and operational procedures.
Collaborate with franchisor partners to implement operational policies, staff training programs, and brand compliance requirements effectively.
Monitor inventory levels, equipment maintenance schedules, and cash handling processes to ensure efficient and secure operations.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring recipe compliance, food safety standards, and coordination between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Implement health, safety, hygiene, and food safety protocols across all operations to meet regulatory and company standards.
Work closely with the marketing team to plan and support seasonal campaigns, promotional activities, and initiatives to drive business growth.
Identify new business growth opportunities, including potential new locations and multi-outlet expansion, to support the brands market presence.
Continuously improve operational efficiency, optimize costs, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve company objectives.
