Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and floor plans to fully understand the scope and requirements of flooring projects.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to gather essential information and clarify project details.
- Use industry-specific software tools, such as Measure Square, to accurately calculate material quantities and generate detailed estimates.
- Evaluate factors including material type, subfloor condition, installation methods, and other relevant variables to provide precise recommendations and cost estimates.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of project details, estimates, and communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, flooring products, and installation techniques to enhance the quality and accuracy of estimates.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex project specifications and architectural drawings effectively.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator or in a similar role with demonstrated expertise in estimating flooring materials and project costs.
- Solid knowledge of various flooring types, installation methods, subfloor preparation, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using flooring estimation software, CAD software, and measurement tools to produce accurate calculations.
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform precise measurements and calculations.
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred; however, relevant professional experience will also be considered.
