Event Executive

The platform connects verified venues and vendors—including photographers, caterers, decorators, makeup artists, and planners—across major cities such as Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi. With transparent pricing in PKR and authentic reviews, Jashn provides users with tools like vendor comparison, a planning concierge, budget calculators, wedding workspaces, and digital invitations featuring live RSVP tracking. These features streamline every stage of event planning, making the process efficient and enjoyable for clients. The service is free for couples, while founding vendors benefit from free listings, verified badges, and direct leads as the marketplace continues to grow nationwide.

The Event Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in PWD Islamabad. This role requires close coordination with couples and corporate clients to understand their event requirements, budgets, and timelines. The executive then aligns these needs with appropriate venues and vendors available on the Jashn platform. This position demands a hands-on approach to managing all aspects of event planning, ensuring seamless communication and execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end event planning support, including scheduling meetings between clients and vendors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date event details within the digital workspace.
- Facilitate smooth communication among all stakeholders involved in the event.
- Track RSVPs and monitor event budgets to ensure financial parameters are met.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise on the day of the event promptly and effectively.
- Provide proactive updates and regular communication to clients throughout the planning process.
- Collect and relay feedback to help improve Jashn’s platform tools and services.
- Assist in vendor onboarding and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to support marketplace growth.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, including managing timelines, budgets, and multiple vendors for social or corporate events.
- Excellent client service and communication skills, with the ability to manage inquiries, set realistic expectations, and foster long-term relationships.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and the capacity to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Proficiency with digital tools and platforms used for scheduling, budget tracking, guest list management, and RSVP coordination.
- Fluency in both English and Urdu, with clear written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse clients and vendors.
- Ability to work on-site, including flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends depending on event schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
