Event Planner

This role involves a dynamic mix of office and fieldwork, with half the day spent at the Head Office in Eden Tower and the other half at Neon Square. The primary focus is to plan, organize, and execute a variety of events including seasonal festivals, brand activations, birthdays, school and corporate days, and product launches. The position requires strong coordination with multiple teams and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee events at Neon Square, including planning seasonal festivals, brand activations, birthdays, school and corporate days, and launches.
- Develop detailed event plans, run-sheets, budgets, and timelines, while closely monitoring costs to stay within budget.
- Identify, negotiate with, and manage vendors such as staging, sound, décor, lighting, catering, security, and entertainers.
- Lead the on-site event team and coordinate efforts with operations, safety, marketing, and ticketing departments.
- Ensure all crowd safety measures, risk assessments, permits, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) are secured and adhered to for every event.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within entertainment, hospitality, theme parks, or brand activations.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale public or family-oriented events.
- Strong skills in budgeting, vendor negotiation, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication abilities in both English and Urdu.
- Proven leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working with outdoor or water-based venues is an advantage.
- A good aesthetic sense to contribute to event décor and overall presentation.
- Familiarity with event permits and regulatory requirements specific to Lahore.
- Basic design or social media skills related to décor and lighting.
- Ability to navigate and order supplies from Chinese e-commerce applications.

Additional Details

- Experience Required: 4-5 years
- Location: Gulberg 3, DHA Phase 8
- Salary Range: PKR 80,000 to 130,000 per month
- Working Hours: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, six days a week (Sunday off is not guaranteed)
