- Contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork, and cooperation within the department and other departments.

- Provides facilitation to the operating room regarding the timely provision of sterilized instruments.
- Works collaboratively with the operating room unit manager.
- Provides effective disinfection and sterilization services.
- Disassembling, Decontaminating, inspecting, and reassembling surgical/medical instruments in accordance with established procedures.
- Oversee packing, wrapping, sealing, and labeling instruments and sets.
- Apply the principles of microbiology and infection control to all activities in restricted and semi-restricted areas.
Any other tasks assigned by HOD.
