Job Description:

  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization goals and outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. 
  • Maintains Project's effectiveness and efficiency by delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. 
  • Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
  • Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data centers.
  • Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures. 
  • Accomplishes objectives by forecasting requirements scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 
  •  Making a feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organization’s overall business strategy.
  • Defining the project’s technological scope and determining what resources are available, estimating time and financial commitment, as well as how to monitor and report on the project’s progress.
  • Manage Issues and Risk and works towards resolving them quickly, so as they don’t take your project off-track. Figures out beforehand what the risks are and set in place a plan of action if they in fact occur.
  • Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Evaluate and assess the results of the project.
